>>14039673I honestly think Alvarez was so mind broken from having to review WWE's shitty years for so long that as soon as a new company opened, and one with so many of his friends there, he wanted it to be a success so bad he overlooked the flaws. Granted, you can give a new company a pass at first but I remember hearing him and Vinny describing segments that sounded so bad and something straight out of TNA that they would have shit on years earlier only for them to praise it as "it was awe-some". I'll always consider AEW's first year as the honeymoon period because everyone had gaga eyes and overlooked it's failures.
