This dude never had it. He wasn’t a fan of wrestling, just got into it and lucked into a dojo spot. He sucked shit on ROH, a completely lifeless and heatless presence. His return Switchblade gimmick was gay. His promo style works a lot better when he just has to sound angry, and the audience doesn’t necessarily have to understand what he’s saying. He just rambles like a drunk on the street.

He’s a good wrestler, but his flop in AEW has more to do with him than Tony. He’s just not a natural wrestler. A very successful play-wrestler.
