it's not unusual for wrestlers to trademark their IP's and not the company they work for; with how much issue he had just using the Cody Rhodes name for a while it's no surprise he's taking the approach others like Hogan, Jericho, Flair have done. In the end, it might just come down to getting more royalty monies.
