Original Timeline Liu was the strongest kombatant (undefeated in straight up fights) in his timeline and would have fucked the both of them if they fought him straight up. The DA didn’t give a fuck about Raiden more than Kang and Shao and they were right because at the beginning of MK Deception they “kill” tf out of him in a direct fight and didn’t feel the need to get the jump or have one of them hide like they did for Liu and Khan.
