>>14062510It's a consequence of their entire model of having like 7-8 inductees, with an obligatory celebrity, woman, Warrior award, black guy, and headliner. It's a Hall of Fame, even stretching the criteria as thinly as they have, you start running out of even semi-credible names eventually. Look at the women, Bull is a well deserving inductee as a great wrestler with a big legacy, but she spent comparatively little of her overall career in WWE, and they were inducting like, the Bellas, and Torrie Wilson before her. But the rules say they gotta have a woman every year, and since they leaned heavily on using WWE women til now, the reality is they used women terribly for decades so there really are not that many "iconic" women figures from WWE, and the few there are, are mostly already in.
There's a reason other, more legitimate Hall of Fames, don't have obligatory induction counts, they induct people when they're voted in and that's it.
