Wasn't interested in watching this, but jfc the price is way too much for the content offered. I pay 27bucks a month total to sub to AJPW TV, DDT, Dragongate Network, Noah, NJPW, and TJPW. All of those have English subs. All but one offer English commentary.

Actually looked into this early today and evidentially the build is some shoot interviews with Bryan back in the 00s saying Blue Panther is his favorite wrestler and that inspired him to get into wrestling, a few video clips from when Bryan was in the WWE of the Mexican media asking him about Blue Panther and giving him a signed Blue Panther mask, and nearly 20 years of Dave Meltzer sperging about one of his favorite wrestlers from the 90s being an inspiration for one of his favorite wrestlers of the 00s. That is the build for a match in the '20s.

It was a fun and it really felt like a dream match. Seeing old blue panther do those dives was wild. Crowd was great but if they do a rematch in america the crowd won't respond like the same as in mexico.
