>WWE superstar CM Punk, real name Phil Brooks, was arrested early this morning at the downtown Philadelphia Ramada Inn after police responded to an “incident” involving 3 other WWE stars, an employee of the hotel, and 4 other hotel guests.
>According to police reports Brooks, 45, returned to the hotel late last night and began complaining to the front desk worker about a dripping faucet in his room. The employee of the hotel, who was not named in the report, offered to send up someone to fix it in the morning. Brooks then asked the employee if they knew who he was before slamming a fist on the front desk. At this point the other WWE stars with Brooks told him to “just go to bed”, which caused Brooks to calm down.
>However, less than an hour later a family of four was awakened by a screaming match between Brooks and Brianna Coda, known in wrestling as Cora Jade. Brooks and Coda began loudly arguing in the hallway of the hotel, causing Mike Andrea, 49, to step out of his room and confront them after calling the front desk. Brooks then threatened to “choke out” Andrea, at which point the front desk attendant arrived.
>Coda repeatedly told Brooks to “just go to bed”, which caused him to scream “why don’t you come with me to bed?” repeatedly. When the front desk attendant tried to calm him down, Brooks swung at him, only to miss and fall over in a heap. Police were then called and arrived approximately 10 minutes later.
>Brooks was taken into custody after the front desk attendant chose to press charges. As Brooks was led away he threatened the family of 4, telling them they “fucked up”. This caused the father to also press charges, as his children are minors.
