WWE doesn't even have TV in Japan, nobody gives a shit about them over there. Rossy will run a Shinkiba based fed, that won't even be able to compete with TJPW.

"Returning to Japan" just means they will run their usual (in pre-covid times) one-off house show, which will half-fill Sumo Hall and not impact the domestic scene in the slightest.

Which isn't a TV channel in the traditional sense (where actually most of the japanese viewership is), it's a streaming service. Also, WWE gets less viewers than fucking NOAH on there, which is pretty embarassing.
So yeah, they're absolutely irrelevant in Japan and a failed joshi promoter and eldery stroke victim isn't the guy who'll change that.
