>>14096931Let's go with the logic here.
Seeing as how Tony's "great decision" of firing Punk publically was to claim that his "life was in danger" instead of just saying he was being extremely unprofessional and caused mayhem, I assume they're going with the thought process of "LOOK HOW VIOLENT PUNK IS IN THIS CLIP HE'S BAD HE'S EVIL YOU SHOULD HATE HIM"
But it's like... Punk gave his side. Granted, you should take it with a grain of salt. Punk's idea of professionalism, as per his words on MMA hour, was not killing/shooting/attacking Hangman for explicitly going off script. Given that, his behavior in that situation was most likely more intense than he lets off. So when he confronted Jack, he was definitely coming off as hostile or raising his voice, then Jack got in his face, and the two tussled. It was probably just a choke hold for sure, but they most likely went around like a couple of bulls.
Now even despite that, this shit isn't exactly damning. I'm sure tons of fights have happened backstage. It'd be harder for them not to. If this is real that AEW's gonna "release" it, it unironically may be near Fingerpoke of Doom levels of self burying, because if it doesn't paint AEW/Tony in ANY way in a somewhat stronger light, they'll become an even bigger fucking joke than they are now and ratings will plummet for real this time.
But some others said it could just be a parody skit, which would also be funny, and it's not a bad idea either. Just fucking book the Bucks as smarmy shits who love running rampant and abusing their power. I'm sure someone will say they already do that, but you know what I mean.
