I actually forgot he talked shit to Cody's mom and father in law during it. To continue the blogpost, my friends' favourite part of the entire match was when the rock was shit talking to Cody's family during the match. They didn't understand whether it was kayfabe or not, and I had to tell them that it kind of blurs the lines. I told them how usually they aren't fully in on it and get super immersed into it, referencing how Roman's mom got super disgusted when Seth cashed in on Roman/Brock at WM 31 or whatever. Then I showed them Christian's promo on Jungle boy where there is a clip of him calling Jungle Boy a piece of shit to his mom and sister. It was a good night overall, I think they started to like wrestling and understood it a bit more (they used to think it was only just fake fighting).
