His wife wanted nothing to do with the company at that point, his brother-in-law embarassed himself and was on the outs with his dad anyway, and Vince was finally gone. Even when Vince tried to weasel his way back, HHH put him in a position where he'd have to sell the company to "Them" just to get back. HHH ended up being the only "McMahon" other than Vince, to get money off this deal. Vince sells, and despite everything the jews still chose HHH and made Vince a CEO in name only. Months later, Vince realizing his empire has gone to shit forgets to pay a whore and loses everything he worked for in 40 years. He has all the money in the world, but he'll die as another boring rich dude.
