There comes a point where the money isn't worth it.
In Seth's case, he's basically the 1B for most of Mania and is the reason the fucking top guy lost the belt. Edge and Bryan are making good money, but look at how low they went in AEW. Shit, Bryan came in the same situation as Seth. He just main evented a Mania and was doing jobs to Daniel Garcia by the end of 2021. In less than four months they killed his overness. While the check is nice, I feel like wrestlers have some ego about how they're perceived.
