Pretty much. Only contrarians hate this Mania. You get the three GOATs, HHH in like his last good match vs Bryan, Taker loses the streak, Womeme are where they belong, Cena vs Bray, Shield in a fun squash, the only good battle royale.

It didn't fucking feel like an eight hour show. 8 matches, 4 hours. That's how it needs to be.

I do think Bryan had a better moment. Him with the belts and the fireworks after beating all of evolution and hugging Conner the Crusher was better than Cody hugging Bruce Prichard. Just my 2 cents.

Bryan also was way more organic. Dude was supposed to fight against Sheamus in what would have been the 6th more important match of that night or so. Cody came back, beat Rollins 3 times, won 2 Royal Rumbles in a row, beat Brock clean and went over everybody not named Roman Reigns in less than 2 years

Bryan's saga dates back to grinding it out in indie mudshows for hot dogs and handshakes in the indies until he finally made it to the big leagues and got so over they had no other option but making him main event the grandest stage of them all.
Cody was born with a silverspoon on his mouth, his father and brother already famous before he was even born. His first experience in wrestling was already in the big leagues. It's the same as Kofi in 2019, if you already start your career in the big time then you didn't actually go through any struggle. I'm not saying Cody doesn't deserve it, just saying it's not the same on any level.

Maybe u have a point but cody winning tonight reminded my alot of Austin in 98. There may bigger moments of pop and fanfare. There may be more authentic and genuine runs to the title. But this combined with everything else the last year or so feels like they've set there sites on a new era in professional wrestling. Not just for Cody's story or whatever the fuck but wrestling as a whole. Obviously the attitude era predates stone cold winning in 98 but when you look back at that wrestlemania as a whole you can start to connect the dots as to why that era became what it did the years after wrestlemania 14. I think people will look back similarly to this year's wrestlemania and if it takes cody rhodes winning a title to do it so be it. I'm fine with that if with it comes an overhaul to everything else. It certainly felt like that as the show ended tonight. Daniel bryan was great for daniel bryan and his fans. I think cody winning will be great for fans of wrestling and I don't even really like the guy.
