I don't care about the New Japan wrestlers or the random luchadors, and at this point all the non main eventers I like are either gone like Matt Hardy or basically gone like Danhausen, The Dark Order and Ethan Page. At this point it's only Christian, Adam Copeland and Bryan Danielson that get me to check out episodes at all, and by next year all three of them could be retired or only on part-time.
I don't care if he didn't wrestle at 100% anymore, very few people in AEW have character like Matt Hardy. Almost everyone in AEW can put on a five-star banger whenever they want, but almost none of them can be particularly interesting outside of the ring. Give me even a 2024 Matt Hardy over three quarters of the AEW roster any day of the week.
