It does surprise me when he's accepting roles like Homelander that he doesn't stay jacked like The Rock does since The Rock is seeking specific castings that suit his strengths.

Cena also decided to go that route later in his life than Rock did. Rock was still in his early 30s when he decided to change his career objectives while Cena kept the wrestling gig well into his 30s. It might have created a glass ceiling for him, even though I regard him having a deeper acting breadth than The Rock (Batista does too -- The Rock remains probably one of the weaker crossover acts to come out of wrestling along with Hogan in terms of ability outside of wrestling, he's just parlayed that limitation into a successful second chapter in spite of it).
