For years. There was a period where it was the most hyped episode of the year. There's a reason 'the Raw after Mania' is even a thing. It wasn't always complete ass like tonight and the past few years. There'd usually be some big return or some major fallout or start of a new angle. Tonight was 3 hours of completely useless and uneventful garbage

I saw this with 0 irony. They completely botched it.
They had one chance while the whole world was watching to deliver an interesting follow-up and we got improv with the Rock where he basically said he was fucking off for awhile followed by some NXT callups of whos that are supposed to be their champions so are they even called up?
It needed either a really big debut or a really big angle and they gave neither.

That time Wrestlemania was 1 show. A lot of these guys were on 2 shows and all the extra sides hit like the hype shows and hall of fame. Cody left Philly after midnight to go to NYC to do a morning show then came back to Philly to do Raw. I think at this point it has to be a cool down show

To be fair the WrestleMania crowd sucked. And it’s that same crowd more or less at Raw. Other Raw after Mania shows became a thing because the hardcore stinky smelly crowds from all over the country bought tickets to Mania and hijacked the Raw after with their shitty chants to put themselves over.

You're not wrong. Or at least it did become this. But it at least was fun to watch and was a break from the norm for a week. It made it at least seem like something more special than any other Monday. Plus there would usually be some big return or debut like that anon said. Or at least some big moment that would keep you wanting to see what happens next week
