I could see him ping pong back and forth multiple times. He has a good mind for the kind of product TK wants to make and is a good talker for WWE and that will take you far there especially with all the extra shit they do outside the show, so when he can't wrestle any more you can still find something for him to do.

There were other factors to that, and it's transient. He was like that at first in AEW too.
And those viewers were are all gone before the commercial break so it's not overly momentous for the company and you can't do that every week, especially with an injured guy.

His fan base is insane and I legit think some of them buy 3 of every shirt they put out and 5 of all other pieces of merch. I had a guy try to convince me that when Punk feuded with the Rock, that even though the Rock took his title and beat him in the rematch, Punk actually won because he had the better promos and the wrestling and the belt don't actually matter any more.

This, I lost most of my respect for him after his UFC and I really didn't want him to come back to wrestling at all. Seeing him go to AEW then tun back to WWE after all the shit he talked is just sad
