But, I'll also say that the reaction to what he said is odd because he didn't really bury them at all. He said they weren't trying to make money, which anyone with eyes can see but still wished them the best. He didn't bury Hangman or Jungle Boy at all. All he did was explain why they pissed him off, but he didn't really disparage them which was shocking.
Even said Tony was nice, but not a boss... which again is what any one with a brain can see.
Is Phil lying about some stuff? 100%. But you could tell there's some truth in what he said because AEW wouldn't pivot after they made COPEland cut a promo begging for no drama, only to create even more drama.
