I usually don't watch NXT, but either this guy makes his moves look real, or Shinsuke has great selling. That match looked realistic.

Shinsuke is good at selling, but Dragunov is known for laying shit in. Him and Gunther adopted the old school mentality of "hit hard in safe places". And his gimmick is that he likes getting hit hard, which Shinsuke was perfect for.

I never miss his matches in NXT. This is still maybe my favorite match so far this year. The only other one that may be better is Sami and Gunther at Mania.

I don't see any reason to think that. He's capable of having extremely exciting matches. He's a little less charismatic than Gunther, but even still it's not Gunther's personality that's made him such a star, but the incredible performances during every match. He's the immovable object, and Ilja's the unstoppable force.

Quite frankly he oversold a lot of this one, doing it out of respect to Shins best moves is one thing but nigga looked like Peter Griffin for the simplest shit right out the gate. Their agents need to get their shit together.

100%. It's a new era, Paul recognizes talent like this, he made Gunther a star and he'll do the same for his arch rival. I'm so excited to see all the new matchups. I've been an Ilja fan for years and he's going to have so many good matches on the main roster.
