>>1417806480s and 90s were an interesting time, it was actually considered cool to be physically fit and even the women had broad shoulders but still looked extremely feminine. In the modern era, people forgot that women are supposed to look somewhat toned like a Frank Frazetta painting, so zoomers & millennials just label athletic girls as troons lol.
As a kid, I legit believed that wrestling had a long legacy pf being a pipeline to hollywood when it really is just the mid 80s & 90s. I always thought it was normal for wrestlers to look roided to the gills when the 80s & 90s were an anomaly and wrestling actually drifted back to what it always was by the 2010s, a bunch of dyels. Although back then the pre 80s wrestling dyels were huge fat guys, instead of tiny skinny fat faggots. Cena, Orton, Brock & Batista were the last batch of monsters.
80s had some good shit like Jake the Snake, Roddy Piper & Ultimate Warrior and early 90s had Razor Ramon. Well their promos were good, but their wrestling was boring. Wrestlers were popular in the 80s, due to their overlap with the physical fitness culture of 80s/90s.
Austin, HHH & Rock are all brutal brawlers with high impact moves so their wrestling style looked far less gay than what the 80s were doing. Hogan's American moveset completely fucking sucked but I guess he'd look like a heel bully the if he used a more bruiser bar brawl wrestling style like he did in Japan.
