>>14171153I’d like to take this opportunity to cut a promo, if you will. Not one meant to disparage anyone for petty, unearned reasons. Not to push my own opinions or a “narrative”, but strictly to state observable facts you can see anywhere on this board at any time.
Why would you ever waste your time arguing with an AEW fan or “defender”? Ask yourself this next time you get into an argument here and it will all just seem very very silly. There is nothing to be gained. They will not suddenly admit you are correct, and even if they did, would you want someone who behaves and argues the way they do on YOUR team? This isn’t just about WWE, I mean any promotion out there. Literally any. Would you want your fans and fellow community members to behave this way while bragging that they share a community with YOU? Of course not. There is simply no point. They will not change their minds, they will never acknowledge when they’re wrong, they simply live to BE the brand. All you can hope for from one of them in an argument is “Yeah well [unrelated event/situation from WWE that doesn’t invalidate what you said]”, or “hi there [some name that isn’t yours, that’s supposed to be an insult if you even know what name they’re calling you]. See the replies. Let them scream and kick. It’s truly a pointless endeavor and I encourage everyone to disregard them as the mentally stunted humans they behave like. I’m telling you now, the replies to my post will completely prove my point better than I ever could. Just let these people go, let them scream into the void. That’s all they want. They don’t want their views or opinions challenged, that’s why they love Tony so much. They want to scream into a void, and if you try to help them they will come after you with an undeserved righteous fury, and you will be “against them”. It’s “Them” (AEW) VS. “Us” (not AEW), and that’s all it ever will be. There is nothing to be gained on your end.
