Card fucking sucked. Best match was the opener and that was a rehash of a much better feud from 2004.
Even AEW fans hated the MJF/Cole friendship angle and the main event was the most 2019 WWE-pilled dogshit AEW had ever done up to that point. Literally defeats the purpose of AEW existing if they're just going to be WWE-lite.
Not to mention they had a much more well received PPV in front of a much smaller crowd in Chicago the literal week after

Complete revisionist history. Their friendship/tag team was one of the most over acts last year. They got huge pops and the crowd to chant shit like "DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE!!!" and "KANGAROO KICK!!!" Cole getting hurt fucked everything up.

I can’t talk about much of AEW here without massive seethe/trolling. I’ve tried to discuss a few matches from this show here.
Ultimately, it comes down to an era of endless news/information. Nothing has any real longevity for longer than a month these days.
