>>14179077Austin was undoubtedly over but objectively the storyline and feud with Vince and the Corporation is what was the most over (incredibly so albeit). Austin couldn’t draw the same kind of numbers or ratings after it sort of concluded at Wrestlemania 17. Austin is great don’t get me wrong but he really wasn’t as great as he was when not feuding with Vince and his constituents. Nothing to be ashamed as it’s one of the greatest if not the greatest storyline of all time but the McMahon feud made Austin and kept him there until it ended.
