Phil tries to pass himself off as not being the aggressor in the interview, you'd think from how he tells it that Jungle Bitch shoved him or something and so he put him in a choke. What actually happens is Phil shoves him, Jungle Bitch does nothing, and then Phil puts him in the front facelock. Not only that, but Phil is the one who walked up to Jungle Bitch and began antagonizing him.
Tiny and AEW's narrative has always been the idea that Phil is an unhinged psycho, and while it's clearly shown here that he chimped out, that fact that it was such a nothingburger with him getting another guy in a headlock for all of 5 seconds and bumping into some monitors makes that narrative come across as melodramatic and histrionic.
