Rock vs Cody happens at Summerslaml. Rock is winning, Solo and Jimmy have already tried to interfere but were beaten back. Roman comes and superman punches Rock to help Cody win. Announce their match at wrestlemania the next night. Have Roman accuse Rock of being the one who suggested a lot of stuff like outcasting Jey instead of apologizing. Cody also learns to rely on dirty finishes and this starts his heel turn where he works the "heel who thinks he's a face" gimmick he was born for. At the last minute, announce that the winner of Rock vs. Roman gets a title shot at summerslam to finish things where they started. Cody retains at 'mania and Roman beats the Rock. Between mania and summerslam, Roman is given a gimmick where he has to beat three people who challenged him for the title clean or else he's not allowed to face Cody. Have him beat two and then lose to a third with their rematch being at the PLE just before summerslam as a #1 contender match. Sami would be a good pick. Cody wins at Summerslam but they shake hands and finally respect each other.
