You’re crediting him for what The Elite did by getting together, doing All In, recruiting talent and stars (at the time). The Elite did the work of setting AEW up and in the initial part of its existence. Tony took over running the show and it was gift wrapped for him.

He delegated a lot to them sure, but so does anyone doing a start up. One person can't logistically do everything. A huge reason the WWF grew so much early on was because Vince was able to secure a great team.

AEW was more The Elite’s brainchild than Tony’s let’s be honest. Tony was more just the guy funding it early on.

I don't think anyone could have created an AEW without some big draws, it's something necessary. And you need someone like TK too. Two rare elements. TNA didn't really work because they didn't have someone like him.

He didn't do that. Cody did that and Tony threw money at them and took credit for it. Tony brought nothing but his dad's money and bad ideas to the company, starting with the terrible idea to name the company after the elite. He has done no actual work himself.

That’s way different. Vince was excellent at his best and knew how to draw all the numbers and Hogan was the draw/the wrestler/the star. The Elite did most of the legwork early on and Tony was the money/trust fund.it would be different if The Elite were simply the wrestlers and draws but they built the house so much with their own hands (particularly Cody). It’s not the same. When Tony took over all duties as far as running the show we got to see what Tony would actually do if he were in the equivalent Vince position and the answer as per right here right now is that it he is a lunatic when it comes to running this company that doesn’t know what he’s doing and can’t be a boss like his title suggests.
