Now there's always that niggling fear in the back of their heads that whatever rival promotion comes up will just be another TNA, another WCW 2000, another ROH. Then you have people like Taz who lived all that. He has friends and memories at WWE. He's thinking about his son's future and will do anything and use anyone, and say anything to ensure Hook survives.
So, yeah, if that means using AEW as a stepping stone and lying about it being based, he'll do it. If it means burying other wrestlers, he'll do it. If it means making up a title just to force his son onto TV, he will do it. Tony should not have pushed Hook the way he did. He is a sucker. There is veteran he can trust. They are all friends with WWE people.
