WWE was his jump to the stardom, not just in the sphere of class C celebrities from wrestling only smarks know about, it was his chance to turn into a generational face and leave a footprint in pop culture and truth of the matter is he may be past that, he kept getting injured, getting sick, AEW kept putting him in lukewarm runs and failed to pull the trigger with him and make him the ace of the company and he never achieved his full potential, I honestly don't even think they want him anymore, his stock is on the floor, at least for now

I was just watching his stream tonight and he was talking about some pretty interesting stuff. Says he hasn’t had power as a booker or EVP in about 4 years (assuming he means otherwise it’s just been a title) and admits he’s a terrible EVP for the company because (talking about Brawl Out) he felt that the scuffle that happened was fine as he grew up in competitive sports and sometimes these things happen (said sometimes on teams you can’t even think straight until you and your boys get it out of your system or maybe even instances where he’s needed to get smacked around a bit). Basically kind of alludes to his philosophy on how to handle all of this drama is completely different than what’s been done. He said that for as much as he’s done comedy stuff in his career he’s not a fan of pulling the curtain to fans on stuff that’s “for the boys” like locker room fights. Like that stuff should stay private as it’s for us to work things out, not for the public to eat up.

Also said that specifically with Brawl Out he felt his job as a guy with the EVP title was to enter a situation where there was chaos going on and try to deescalate and create a “peaceful environment”. Joked and said he did that for the most important person in the room at least Larry/Punk’s dog.

Someone asks him whose better at jiu jitsu him or Mox and he kind of just takes a long pause and says “It’s amazing that Mox has gotten to the skill level he’s at in as short of time as he as. I’ve been grappling for a long time. I know it’s easy to think of Kenny Omega as this dorky guy that plays video games but I’m legit guys [in terms of being a competent grappler]”

Mind you he brings none of this stuff up himself and is just answering fan questions while he plays Street Fighter. He goes into all this in about the last hour of his 3 hour stream. Twitch will probably have the replay up in a day or two if you want to sift through some of what he says yourselves.

That's the thing tranny, they did not have anyone because of Vince's obsession with Roman and with him gone now, not only Roman has cemented himself as a star that can actually reach that super stardom, Cody Rhodes is well on his way too and Kenny could have been part of it

Shoulda woulda coulda. Okay fine he gambled and signed with AEW in 2019 and they fucked him on what should’ve been his most popular years coming offf of his best run. But Omega made a huge mistake after all of that resigning with AEW last summer. That’s on him. I agree he could’ve done well and lasted longer in the WWE.

Don't forget that he said he and phil were totally fine and have no issues, "as far as I know" (lol). And he definitely was not too committed to aew when anyone would ask him about his remaining career goals and whatnot. He alluded to having stuck his neck out for people in the past and gotten burned for it
