one of the things i really like about kevin owens' ring work is that he's one of the wwe guys that is more willing to put his body on the line. just this past week he took a styles clash from the second rope. during his last tag run with sami, he was jumping off shit and taking big bumps that you just don't typically see on wwe programming. like i said, i really appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond with his body and i think that adds entertainment value to him as a wrestler kayfabe and it definitely establishes him as a trusted and safe worker.
regarding his mic work, he's got a real good sense for what makes audiences tick, which is why he's so versatile and great on the mic. he's frank and funny, which helps him endear the audience as a babyface and makes him shine an unflattering light on the audience as a heel.
most of all, i enjoy that kevin owens is able to commit to anything. take the elias/ezekiel storyline for example. that storyline was stupid and it would not have worked if anyone other than kevin owens had been on the other side of it. he committed in such a way that it is still talked about today. i really appreciate that.
i think kevin owens is great because i know that no matter what's gonna happen on screen, it's gonna be entertaining if he's involved.
