There’s things AEW has done that I like, they have some talent I like, but let’s not pretend it’s bigger or ran better than it really is. Why can’t their fans just admit “yeah it’s basically an indie fed, but I like it”? I’d actually have respect for them if they just had some honesty. Not every fed needs to be massive and try to destroy WWE or whatever, indie feds can be really cool and have diehard fan bases and talent that truly love the promotion, I don’t understand the problem or the insistence on pretending AEW is anywhere near WWE level, in any regard. I don’t get it.
