The best feud in history is Misawa Kawada, it has it all
>they were former school friends, grew up together
>started as allies and young upstarts pushing the older generation
>eventually become bitter rivals
>Misawa is the clear ace, takes years for Kawada to be able to overcome him for the Triple Crown
>they start disliking each other behind the scenes
>Kawada resents Misawa's position as ace and reputation, believes it should've been him
>the disdain starts to enter into their matches which become more and more brutal
>some of the greatest payoff matches in wrestling history
>eventually shoot feud over control of the company after Baba dies, Misawa leaves and takes every wrestler on the roster except for 2 (Fuchi and Kawada)
>the two have one final cross-promotional blow off at the Tokyo Dome
You'll never convince me that there is a better feud anywhere in pro wrestling. It's like Bret and Shawn but actually booked well and way more vicious.
