I also don't buy Rossy really thinking Bushiroad would just bankroll things and he could just keep full creative control. On the first press conference after the purchase, him and Kidani were hinting at his "producer" role only being temporary. Rossy just had a stroke (probably why he sold in the first place), so he seemed good with that deal and Kidani, with his plans of getting new demographics, wasn't just letting the old dude, who only knows how to book a product for the bald uncles and coomers, have the booker position for eternity.
So Bushiroad slowly, but steadily, phasing Rossy out, was exactly as planned. Problem was, baldie apparently got sellers remorse at some point and his ego got the better of him. Because that was this is, a vanity promotion, born out of hat retards ego.
