I don't want to sound like a contrarian just because they're new, but those may be the worst looking championship belts I've ever seen, even compared to some of the shit back in like the Frank Gotch or Bruno Sammartino days. I never liked the big W copy/paste belts, the spinner belts... hell, even the previous tag team championships but I was able to warm up to them over time. These are an eyesore right out of the gate and I doubt I'll ever think different. The banners are tacky, the red enamel background clashes against the type of gold color they used and forces you to notice it over any of the center-plate detail. Not that it looks like there's any interesting details in there anyway, it's an amorphous swirl of gold blobs and jagged edges. LIke a chicken of the woods mushroom growing in the wild. The main detail that stands out enough to notice right away is the WWE logo, great for brand synergy I guess. I actually like the logo though, the polished silver and black looks good and I wish the main heavyweight championships just filled in the space between the WWE logo like this instead of using gems. Speaking of gems, I bet you could take the ones off of these new tag belts and no one would even notice because the red and gold drown them out as well. The side plates and those weird Batman utility belt capsules do nothing for me either. Fuck these belts.
