Syxx was over in WCW too. And when he returned to WWF as X-Pac, he was the most over guy in DX for awhile. [Triple Paul was the LEAST over member btw]
This all changed a few years later. But X-Pac heat didn't become a thing until around 2001 or so. Waltman used to be a draw. No amount of revisionist history will change that.
