He could prove he's an actual draw at best. He could at least prove he didn't need WWE training to be a top wrestler in their company at all though and that would finish his arc. Without it, he was just a good indie hand that was able to stay relevant for a decade because he had the backing of some old autist really into workrate wrestling

I’d like to see him get that WWE run but the problem is he is literally locked into an AEW contract until he’s 44 or 45. How the fuck would he get out of that? Tony didn’t want to let Punk go when he requested release what do you think he’s gonna let Kenny, an EVP go and be fine with the PR nightmare?
