AJ makes more sense for Cody's first opponent and LA Knight already bet AJ at Mania.

I think heel LA Knight is inevitable, though. His whole character is working the gimmick and that can work both ways. He needs to get out of the AJ feud first, though.

Maybe he beats Sami or Logan Paul at SummerSlam for their belt.

I think he'd be willing to do it if it meant extending this title run to make it really long. Have him turn heel around Survivor Series and hold the title until next Summerslam. Since it's his first title reign, it needs to be long and memorable. It's going to be hard to get past a couple months without a heel turn.
