>>14323979"He's a millionaire who should be a billionaire" comes to mind. AEW is a failing promotion that should be a surging promotion, but Tony keeps paying sports entertainment money to people who are only good at in-ring wrestling. If he would get rid of all the anchors, overpaid ex-WWE crybabies, the seldom-used bottom roster indy shitters that are apparently too good to do squash/ROH matches, and everyone else holding them back, AEW could do much better. The squash match shit in particular pisses me off - if you're so worried about your name value, then fucking eat shit, quit/get your release and go work the indies. Don't keep riding the bench like a BITCH while refusing to job to mid/upper card AEW talents that actually do work. Have some fucking dignity.
Manipulation is the name of the game. An integral part of milking Tony is having no shame - and people with no shame won't hesitate to hop on Podcasts/Twitter after being cut and cry tears about how they failed their family, how they're poor now, how their children won't even look them in the eyes any more, how they might as well start shooting heroin, etc. It's reason #1 why Tony doesn't need to step down, but he does need to step aside, because he's not capable of breaking the Friends Club monopoly. And as long as AEW is a giant Friends Club, the bullshit will continue.
AEW needs to shit-can everyone who isn't there to make AEW the most competitive wrestling company it can be. Worry about closing the gap, not passing WWE entirely. Until then, I'll continue to LOVE laughing at AEW haha
