I've always been convinced that Owen dropped Austin on his head deliberately. A few years ago I learned that Steve had told Owen he didn't want to do the pile driver spot, which is why Steve's legs are kicking so wildly when he goes up, but Owen did it anyway, and we all know what the outcome was.
Owen Hart tried to paralyse or even KILL, Steve Austin, and he was almost successful.
