yeah i dont see them pulling the trigger on him. joe isnt injured and he won the belt in december and the world title hasnt switched hands that fast normally. moxley to mjf was a transitional title which was the only exception i can think of. i also dont think swerve is even champion material. hangman was just a good rival for him because it felt new and wasnt keith lee again. every other feud he does is retarded.

There isn't hype and excitement for a title change like there should be. Swerve is the most over guy on the show but it feels like he's cooled off a bit since he turned face.

they did all the shit they shouldve done this week two weeks ago. that contract signing wouldve been a good lead in to the match but the feud has just meandered up to now. the pacing, if you can call it that, has been terrible in aew lately. and i say this as a fan. i’ve been skipping rampage and botb lately because they dont even do any good backstage segments there. rampage is pointless

Controversial opinion but I don't think AEW has been as good as it was last year when everyone was shitting on it constantly. Yes the MJF stuff sucked but everything else was better. Meandering really is the best word for it right now. Feels like those shitty months in WWE between Summerslam and Royal Rumble
