Guy is the son of a rich guy, he's never experienced failing at something. All the friends he's had have hung around him because he has money, all his jobs have been due to his rich dad. If someone tells him like hey man your shit sucks, he's bust fundamentally unequipped to deal with it mentally. Not oncd in his life has he had to face failure.
