That was just a decent MOTY contender from last year. In my opinion Ospreay Kenny still cleared it last year but they were both good. Danielson Ospreay is MOTD level.

If the match happened in Japan it would have actually been good. Imagine a crowd getting invested in the match as it builds instead of just chanting the same three things over and over to entertain themselves. Imagine if Danielson actually listened to Miz in 2016 and left WWE to go to NJPW and we got that match years ago.

Even if it's true, it's tainted by it being the opinions of Meltzer and Alvarez, two very biased peopled when it comes to the wrestlers they're talking about. I genuinely think Ospreay could shit himself mid-match and Meltzer would twist himself into a pretzel explaining how it's the greatest match of the modern era.
