They’re no longer darkening the arenas in every WWE show, bullying kids for loving the babyfaces and booing the heels. They’re no longer at the shows to get themselves over and chant “we are awesome.” They aren’t around to neuter every babyface and ruin a Cody coming up and breaking out. They aren’t influencing NXT anymore and causing HHH to think Gargano and Ciampa will be bigger stars than they are.
WWE crowds are being, louder and more level headed and enjoyable to be around precisely because Tony created the Smark wet dream world of AEW. WWE is allowed to be cool again because all the weird autists have abandoned it and latched onto this other product. Kids and families and well adjusted people can go to a WWE show and not be sat next to someone from r/SquaredCircle who is mortified at the thought of the child sitting next to them cheering for John Cena instead of wanting to see real graps.
Tony is a surgeon who’s cut out the tumour that’s ruined pro wrestling for over 20 years The hardcore “fans.” I applaud his selfless sacrifice having to appeal to these fucking disgusting creatures multiple times a week. AEW dying would unironically be the worse thing for WWE because the smelly, unwashed stampede would return home and shit up the place with their awful opinions and demands.
