Serious question, how do you never get tired of this shit? A lot of these matches are quite literally the same style and just a slightly different structure.

I think about how much I want to fuck IYO, but yeah, the same moves over and over are kind of annoying. We are in a weird world where in the past people would only ever see wrestling in person so like how many fights could you actually see? even when it started to go on tv most guys who weren't the hulk didn't have a super long run. Now its dudes who have been on tv 10, 20 years doing the same shit over and over

Yeah those overly long matches seem pointless, if they just keep hitting each other with stuff, until one of them suddenly loses. They're not really building towards it, they just do stuff until they've done all the stuff they wanted to do and then it ends

While you can say a lot of negative things about modern WWE and their wrestling style, the one thing they do really well is having a varied amount of styles especially with their top guys. E.g. Lesnar is clearly a powerhouse grappler, Reigns is a powerhouse brawler, Cody is also a grappler with some high flying moves sprinkled in, Gunther is some abomination mix between a euro catch wrestler, japanese choppa shit and a territory wrestler etc. while AEW's top guys are like 90% technician high flyers whose moves mostly blend into each which leads to a big part of the roster and the matches being homogenized and it isn't helped by the fact that most of them wear those weird glittery tights with kickpads and boots

Either that, or some kind of black trunks. I watched the Kyle match yesterday, and it was just a guy in black trunks against another guy in black trunks. Then at the end a bunch of people come out in black clothes

Yeah, at this point it actually benefits your own experience if you watch wrestling less.
Every Danielson match and feud is about who the best wrestler in the world is. The matches are the same too, great matches tho.

Best way is probably just to watch PPV matches, and otherwise just watching promo clips on Youtube. I don't want to watch several hours of wrestling matches every week

Also whats up with Ospreay selling? The first chop he got after doing the indie-shit "Come on, hit me" stick, he fell down like a clown in slow-motion, even the crowd wasnt sure how to react.
He either over-sells things or doesnt sell at all. Daniel is still clearly the better wrestler.

Also fuck Osprey for no-selling the first Surfboard. While Daniel set it up, Ospray does the shitty "nuh-uh-uh!" finger waggle while looking unimpressed into the crowd. Only to clumsily roll out of the surfboard. Just looked weird.

The only ones who can still put up with it are super-autistic smarks. Everybody else is real fucking sick of that stale shit. That's why it doesn't draw anymore. I probably would've popped hard for the idea of Danielson vs Ospreay a long, long time ago but now you couldn't even pay me enough to watch it.

The worst part about is you knew the ending already and knew Tony wasnt going to do anything interesting with it. At least with WWE you might have Bryan go full heel when he realizes he cant win fair and cheats to win which will build up another match where Ospreay can go over strong and look even better. Now they just make bryan look like an old punching bag and Will just won and nothing really changes from it other than Meltzer having a stroke over it
