Workrate/Jap wrestling/AEW marks, in my experience, are mostly deranged. I've interacted with a few on discord servers posted here and about 70% of the time they're straight up fucking insane.
Quite frankly, it's no surprise. I mean, imagine what kind of a person you'd even have to be to be a massive mark for wrestling and, instead of going down the route of becoming a pro wrestler and drawing dimes, you go down the route of autistically watching every Suzuki Toyotahashi vs Subaru Suzukirii match from 40+ years ago. Good lord.
