If you actually watched the shows, looked at the ratings, PPV buys, etc., Hogan and Goldberg were the only two keeping WCW afloat in the late 90s/early 00s. Then Hogan came back to WWF, was supposed to be heel against one of the most over guys in history, and instead totally pop-mogged him at Wrestlemania, and then had one of the biggest and most sustained deafening pops the night after, and went on a high-drawing run for a bit as well.
