If NBA leaves WBD, they have nothing, they will start getting dropped from Deluxe cable packages down to Super Deluxe cable packages, so they'll still be in plenty of homes, but they'll take a 10-20 million subscriber hit. I guess it's possible they stay in the top package, but with drastically reduced carriage fees (and ad rates overall).
In what universe would they pay AEW $250,000,000/year to keep 750k subscribers, the vast majority of whom also watch Raw/Smackdown or other sports/cable channels? Guys....it's over. This last minute publicity stunt isn't going to stop Based Zaslav from flushing this Elite feces down the drain.
