I don't think mic skills are always necessary though, Goldberg and Batista did good. Just need to present them right. For some reason even these big dudes also think they need to be doing backflips and shit now. It was cool when Lesnar did the moonsault, but if you can make a career out of just suplexing people, why would you want to do those stunts

Yeah, but that's WWE. AEW has no stars and no main event level talent aside from WWE has-beens. I'm not saying Wardlow should be the face of the company, but you could book him like a Batista in AEW and smash him over. Give him a manager if you're so worried about his mic skills. In fact, Wardlow with Cole as his manager could be dimes.
