because they don't have to, AEW overpays everyone and they can just get paid to sit at home.

The only guys that work the indies and AEW are the indie guys that have been wrestling for years, meanwhile, people like Julia Hart and Jungle Boy don't bother to wrestle outside of AEW (no, NJPW USA isn't a real promotion, it's literally just AEW at this point.
