I don't mind factions because I like people being boys instead of everyone being an ass and lone wolf.
Like, Disco, Louie Spicolli, Dusty coming out with Hall was cool, because it felt like they were friends in and out. But WWE and AEW don't really do this. WCW is honestly the only place that kind of got the idea of factions right. I guess NJPW as well for the past decade.
I don't get why more people don't second and build the relationship. JD is the only one that's actually booked alright because they kind of back each other up more than the rest.
As for the actual tags, it's great to cover over for a lesser worker, but WWE only really knows one tag angle and that's The Rocker's Breakup, so you never truly have hope for a tag-team staying together that long. The rare ones that do are the outrageously shit ones like New Day.
For AEW, it's a booker who has no idea what the fuck he's doing. He doesn't have a direction so just puts two people together and pretends he's pushing tag-team wrestling.
