It Could've Been So Different

>never talk about WWE, and if asked about it, just say that AEW is doing things in a different way, and that the wrestling landscape is big enough for two companies
>hire someone who has a proven track record of booking successful shows, and make sure the wrestlers know they're are not the ones who will be running creative
>stay away from cringe comedy and half-baked storylines
>ban spots that would end up in LOLAEW threads
>don't bloat your roster with people you don't use, and don't throw additional shows on TV unless they're going to matter
>don't have endless crossovers with other companies and feuds that only make sense if you're autistic and your whole life revolves around wrestling
>when CM Punk has issues with the other wrestlers, sit everyone down and tell them firmly that it doesn't matter if they don't get along, they're going to respect each other and work for the good of the company

An American version of New Japan could've been such an incredible product man. It could never have gotten higher ratings than WWE, but it didn't need to. It could've been a smaller show that still had a devoted fanbase, and could be enjoyed instead of, or in addition to, WWE. So much potential, and it's devastating to see it squandered.
